fun fact (at least for me ;) ) that happened to me during a final oral exam; I had barely started my presentation when the examiners asked a few questions, then I resumed my presentation; a little later, as the end approached, one of the examiners told me "we'll have to think about concluding"; I paused for a few seconds, take a look at the timer, and continued after saying (with a smile): "I have x minutes left, plus the time already spent on the questions at the beginning."

It made them smile (and I finished right in the last minute of the timer :P ).

Imangine now how i can react if some managers would have behaved like in this strip >:D

This is a great comic. It's cathartic. I read ones like this and think, "I remember that." Then I am even more thankful to be retired.

So many times. In fact so many that I now deliberately abbreviate my slides to finish on time. They never wanted all that information anyway. I used to think it was important for them to know, but in reality none of them care, so why bother?
