dude, i had a boss who would write an email, send it, print it and walk the paper copy down to my office.

no words for this guy, just derisive laughter. 🤣

How about the new fax cover sheets for the TPS reports? Did everyone use them?

No.

Every meeting should've been an email.

I SAID EVERY.

Or at least, every meeting should start as an email. If the issues can’t be resolved, then meet.

But... that would make sense! I have yet to find a company that makes sense.

Sometimes people won't understand your questions (or pretend not to), so there is no choice but to ask to their faces.

Disagree.

They get left off the project.

And I might disable their user credentials if I'm really ticked with them.

But are they really the right people or is it going to turn into the meeting to discuss the needed meeting about finding the people that really need to have the meeting?

Everybody who showed up wasn't doing any work anyway, amirite? 😛

I just antagonize my boss in Slack until he gets frustrated with typing (I'm faster), gets up, and walks two steps out of his office to talk to me at my desk. 😈

Every meeting that could've been an email should've been a Slack thread. 🧵

This Zoom should have been a Teams message.
